YADD displays distress calls with a red background. Here MMSI 538008202 (the Stream Atlantic) issues a distress call at 202:20:06. (The entire MMSI shows up later.) Within 30 seconds the vessel Innovation relays the distress call and in one minute the US Coast Guard in Miami acknowledges receipt of the distress message. Over the next few minutes there is another relay, another distress call, and acknoweldgements from the US Coast Guard Miami and Cheseapeake stations. Finally the Stream Atlantic acknowledges that it knows the distress call has been received.
