SDR Spectrum Recordings Archive
These recordings were made on my travels over the past several years.They are primarily medium wave but there are a few longwave and shortwave, too. Underlined locations have multiple days of overnight top-of-hour medium-wave recordings.
* Recordings from 2016 to 2018 and the 2019 recordings from Argentina and Uruguay were made using an Afedri SDR-NET receiver.
* Europe and Morocco files were made with a pair of Afedri HF+ Discovery receivers.
* Brazil recordings were made with an Elad FDM-S2 and Afedri HF+ receivers.
* All other recordings were made with the Elad FDM-SW.
* Software used was a mix of HDSDR, SDR-Console, and the native Elad program. Everything should be playble in either of the first two programs.
* As noted, in most cases the antenna was some form of large wire loop (10 to 40 meters circumference) with a Wellbrook ALA-100LN. In a few instances the antenna was a PA0RDT mini-whip. And in two places I was able to use BOGs (beverage on the ground) antennas.
